🛠️ Build Tip of the Week: Chassis Stiffening for TT-02
Want a tighter handling TT-02 without overcomplicating things?
Install the Tamiya 54501 – TT-02 Aluminium Propeller Shaft and Tamiya 54502 – TT-02 Aluminium Propeller Joint. Together they reduce chassis flex and sharpen throttle response—especially important for brushless users.
⚙️ LiPo + Brushless Corner: Gear Ratios Matter
Avoid Overheating Your Motor
Running too small a pinion with a high-kV brushless motor? That can overwork your ESC. Use Tamiya’s gear ratio chart to keep your gearing within safe ranges.
What’s the Sweet Spot?
For a 13.5T brushless motor on a TT-02, aim for a gear ratio between 7.0–8.0 for solid speed without thermal issues. A 25T pinion with the high-speed gear set is a great combo.
🧰 Featured Product of the Week
Tamiya 54501 – TT-02 Aluminium Propeller Shaft
Upgrade your TT-02 with this aluminum propeller shaft for better heat dissipation and rock-solid gear mesh. Ideal if you're running brushless or planning to race—this part reduces flex and keeps your drivetrain stable at high speeds.
